Well let me start by saying that I've loved Bon Jovi since 1986 when I first saw ''You give love a bad name'' and from that day on I've been hooked and will be for life. Well back when I first noticed Bon Jovi, I told my friends that one day I'm going to meet them and my friends just said yeah right...and I know that they laughed at me behind my back. Well through the years of loving the 5 guys from New Jersey I've seen many fans getting to meet them and I was sad and maybe a bit jealous when I heard people sayin' how great it was meeting them and stuff. Well, I still held on to my dream and in 1993 my dream became reality - I won a Bon Jovi contest on MTV after sending in 141 postcards. But all the cash I spent on stamps and cards was worth it because I finally got to meet BON JOVI.

September 16th, 1993 was the first day I met my boys, it was in Brussels. I was so nervous and excited but I had no reason to be scared because when the guys came up and talked to me, God they are the sweetest, kindest, most wonderful down-to-earth rock band I've ever met (and I've met a few!!). Well I also got to meet Billy Idol and Little Angels in Brussels and I also met a woman who was dating Richie at that time....!!!!

Before the show in Brussels I got to 'meet & greet' the band together with some other price winners and they signed autographs and talked with us, all the Bon Jovi guys were in such a good mood. I also got to come inside the dressing-room to my heroes, to see when they were given sales awards for selling over 50 000 copies Keep The Faith. But my dream meeting didn't stop there...Bon Jovi's real tour manager let ME be the tour manager for the night and I got to escort the guys to the stage. ...wow...it was so wonderful! I was on the other side with Bon Jovi, seeing the lights go down and Bon Jovi following me! Not in my wildest dreams did I think that I would get the chance to do all the things I got to experience during these days with my boys.!!! WOW!

And the show that night in Brussels was great, and maybe an hour or so after the show the guys had rested a while it was to hit the road again. I got to sit with Jon, Tico, Alec, David & Richie in their bus as we drove to the airport. Then I got to fly with them in their private plane to England. On the plane I took pix and we talked and they signed autographs for me. I was also given a gift from the guys that Jon sweetiepie gave me . Also got a pair of Tico's drum sticks, some guitar picks from Richie, and I also have a pen and guitar pick that were Alec's! AND I'm not forgetting the wonderful memorable pix of the guys and me.:-) ....God, I can't believe I’ve been so close to them. On the plane I got to sit on Tico's lap - not the whole trip though!!!! When we landed in England on the night of September 17th we all got on board of another bus that took us to our hotels. And on the bus both Dave & Alec fell asleep...they were so cute to look at. And Rich & Tico ''flirted'' with me, and sweet Jon sat beside me and we talked for a while. When we came to our hotels we saidgoodnight and they were so happy and kind to me all the time, even though they they were tired. Bon Jovi are the best!

On September 17th the guys had a day off so I didn't meet them that day. I spent the day at the MTV studios! But on the 18th of September I met my boys again. It was at the Milton Keynes Bowl and I saw them arrive with security to the backstage - and I was so happy that I was on the inside not having to stand outside and just dream and wish to be inside!!!! Well, the time had come to meet again in the meet & greet room and when they came in Jon came first, and he and the others pointed their fingers at me and said ''Oh look, it's Nina, our tour manager''. And they came up to me and we talked and they posed for pix with me It was so wonderful, just being in the same room with Bon Jovi...it blew me away. I love Jon and the boys always. And the show at the Bowl was magical...just like all these days I got to spend with my heroes. These days were my dream come true and I've got the pix and memories to prove it. Jon and the others are just heaven to meet. I love them now & forever. Jon you rule my world.
