When Gabi met Jon Bon Jovi...

In June 1998 was my 15th birthday and here in Argentina we do an important party with all your families and friends. It's in a saloon and always the girl of the birthday wear a white dress. The point is that I didn't want this party what I really wanted was a trip to U.S.A. to see specially Jon or any of the guys. Then what I've to find was Jon address (it was soooooo difficult) but I finally an angel gave it to me. Well, now the only thing that I had to worry about is that Jon be there the day that I would go.

On 8th December 1998 my whole life's dream came true.  I was so crazy that I knocked on his house's door, a maid opened it and said to me Jon wasn't there but I could wait for him outside. So I sat there on the driveway when I saw a black car (Dorothea was driving it and Jon was sitting next to her). He looked at me, but he didn't do anything. I was so depressed. I thought Jon wasn't what I've imagined. So I kept waiting out there and after a while he go out with the same car and now there were his kids with him. He did the same thing, just looked at me and I couldn't say a word or move. After 27 minutes I was filming his neighborhood when his car appeared again. He looked at me again but this time he said HI with a big smile and waved his hand. I was so stupid  I didn't say anything, just kept staring at him and I couldn't believe it was me who he was greeting 'cause when he's in a concert he always indicates someone with his finger, but you never know if it was you he refers to or just someone else. So that meant very much to me.

Then I came back (I was having lunch) to Jon's place in NJ and it was raining very heavily. I was completely wet, but nothing mattered to me at that moment.  I just to wanted to see him one last time. So he was coming back to his house I said " hi!" with my hand and everything. He stopped the car.  I was sooo excited to explain him I was from Argentina, how much I love the band and so on. I also gave him a coin from Argentina, a letter, a bracelet that I've had since I was born. He was smiling at my all the time and he said I was completely nuts, but that those things made him happy or something. In that moment I really couldn't pay attention to every single word he said. He was very, very, very kind, sweet and all the good words that exist. He gave me an autograph and I've got a picture with him. So now I can say I could die in peace : )
