Bon Jovi – Cardiff
Sunday 17th June 2001
cardiff!!
Well what can i say!
i have just had the best weekend of my life, milton
keynes on saturday
night and Cardiff on sunday night. I thought i would tell
you guys about Cardiff
as there is already a Miton keynes preview!
Where do i start........
The support bands were brilliant, very good warm up
for bonjovi. The stage
is brilliant set out like the Empire State building,
loads of lights, loads
of speakers and very loud, which is just what you need
for a bonjovi concert.
Anyway the band come
onto the stage and go straight into one wild night,
raise your hands, in
these arms ( one of my favourites) and many more of
their wonderful hits.
They played Always and i nearly died cause i was'nt
expecting it, cause
they did'nt play it the night before, it was brilliant.
They also played These
days which was'nt on the set list for Milton Keynes
and that was amazing
aswell.
When jon was playing
Saturday night, he called his son jesse onto stage and
that was really sweet,
i tell you he is a little jon it is really sweet. Jon
picked jesse up and
put him infront of Ticos drums and put earphones on him.
He lasted not even
a minute i think it was a bit loud for him, cause jon
turned round and he
was gone.
We had another surprise
aswell, cause they finished the gig with prayer, dave
and tico went off the
stage but richie and jon decided to play another song
an accustic version
of Never say goodbye, that was very special indeed.
But if i had choose
between both gigs, i think it would have to be Miton
Keynes for the fact
they had fireworks flying of the stage, and just
performing an unbelivable
gig. I think also it was the ending aswell when we
sang prayer to them
before they even started the song, but we knew they could
not play prayer they
always do! so that was very special!
I just had one wild
weekend it was brilliant and those people who are reading
this and decided not
to go to this years tour have and will miss ONE WILD
NIGHT, and thats a
promise.
keep the faith, everyone
